Hello. I am thinking of getting a bird (right now I have many Rodents), I have been looking at various types on the internet and am torn between the Quaker Parakeet and the Celestial Parrotlet. Could anyone hit me with some pros and cons of each to help me decide? thanks. - Grantland

I am having trouble getting my new Quaker to eat his fresh vegetables. I have offered him carrots, broccolli, cauliflower, green peas, cucumber, & celery. Hi, We got tired of changing the Quaker Parrot soup (water with pellets) created by Chef Shakes four and five times a day. So we bought him? her? a water bottle and we now just put an inch or so of water in the old water bowl so he can still make his soup. He is drinking out of the water bottle so..

My parents have a male quaker parrot, and the thing is very aggressive. Its very unpredictable, when I walk in the room with him (he is only in his cage overnight), you never know if he's going to attack or be nice. I think he has bipolar disorder like me. My dad says he's seen videos of quaker ..

One Very Naughty Quaker Parrot - what is it...the time of the year? our quaker is doing the "gotta have a woman" thing over and over and over in his cage usually in the afternoons sometimes for a half hour or more he'll "mount" his stick stop and do it again...and ag...
