we thot he was a goner but the quaker came back...

Sedric, our 15 year old rescue...escaped from his cage
sunday....i watched helplessly as this green bird became
a very small dot on the horizon...only to disappear completely...

i didnt think i'd ever see him again

thats why, 4 hours later, i went outside and could "hear" him
squaking off in the distance...so i whistled for him and he flew down
from this huge oak tree and landed on my HEAD...and he
was one happy (and hungry) bird

needless to say...i was nothing short of stunned

can anyone relate to this story???

Our hand raised Cockateil got out but only went to the top of a pecan tree
for about an hour and then flew down and landed on the wifes head. He rode
back to the house from there.

Also put a love bird in her cage on the patio. When I went to get her she
had a male sitting on her gage. I opened the door and he moved in. Babies
then happened. I guess most tame birds like the fat lazy life.
